We are currently recruiting contract instructors for day and evening classes teaching Department of Mental Health (DMH) Medication Aide, and Two-Year Medication Update. Positions are part-time and provide no benefits.

Instructors must be currently licensed to practice as either a registered nurse or practical nurse in Missouri or hold a current temporary permit from the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The licensee shall not be subject to current disciplinary action such as censure probation, suspension or revocation. If the individual is a licensed practical nurse, the following additional requirements must be met:

• A valid Missouri license or temporary permit from the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

• If applicant is LPN, must be a graduate of a program that includes coursework in pharmacology as part of the curriculum.

• Candidate must hold a current Level One Medication Aide from MALA and DMH or be willing to obtain prior to instruction.
